In comparison with many hotel chains within the same category as Best Western, I was pleasantly surprised with our experience staying here overnight. We are a travel sports family, so we have stayed around many Hamptons, Hiltons & Marriotts within the Midwest and Eastern states.But after our stay here at Best Western, I have signed up for a member account so that I can begin to earn points for future stays. The service at check in and check out was very friendly as well as helpful as we asked questions about the local sites. The free breakfast was better than the average hotel free breakfast, including more friendly service and A+ cleanliness. Rooms were comfortable and clean, plus the interior looked to be updated or if not updated, very well maintained. Location was perfect in that it sits directly across from the Gettysburg Battlefield, closest to the Pennsylvania monument, but also towards the ‘far end’ of town away from the heavier tourism.

We stayed 4 days when our first plans were to only stay 2, beds were comfortable very clean hotel, ladies that took care of the breakfast bar were some of the best I ever experience constantly replenishing everything if they weren't doing that they would be at the tables picking up empty plates not rushing people but making sure there was a seat for the next family, can't say enough about how friendly they were. The only reason I give this hotel a 4 and not a 5 is the front desk you could tell the inexperience of staff took way to much time to do the simplest task. It's a new place and I'm sure they will get better with time.

This hotel is convenient since it is walking distance to most attractions around the area and would take you a good 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Everything is neat and nicely done in a spacious room. The TV that we have in the room that we stayed was only 32 inch and the heater was acting up to which it will also blow cool air afterwards. Breakfast was okay but the area that they have is small that it gets cramped especially when there’s a group of school kids staying in the same location. Their coffee machine downstairs near the lobby was also broken during our stay that was really disappointing. I would have given 5 stars if not for these issues that I stated.
