Close to the Battlefield

First and most importantly, our rooms were very clean. They are slightly worn and outdated pieces throughout but the bathroom was spotless and functional. The staff was very friendly throughout!! The breakfast is ok (although free!) and they do have both a waffle and pancake machine (great for the kids). The walls are thin and if you're near the side door on the bottom floor it can be quite noisy in the morning with people coming in and out of that door. You can also hear people in the next room. I will say we came in April which is not the busy season and the public spaces are too smalll. If there is any kind of sports team or HS group (on both days for us) the breakfast room is incredibly small, as is the gym and the pool. I wanted to walk the treadmill at 9 pm but it was full of teenagers using the equipment so there was nothing available. Finally, the location is great. You can look over part of the Gettysburg military Park and the hotel is walkable to all of downtown Gettysburg. Overall, we do recommend staying here.

One night stay because very early appointment at Gettysburg Hospital. Nice room, terrible pillows (children size), good breakfast, nice people at the front desk.

Lobby, room, and overall hotel is modern clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Fitness center a nice touch. I like the lobby pantry is handy- items like snacks, drinks and toiletries perfect for forgetful travelers.
