Nice rooms, courteous staff, ...

Nice rooms, courteous staff, high rates. Stayed in many other places in town, this is the nicest. Price is the only reason for the four stars.

Hands down, the very ...

Hands down, the very best place to stay in Gettysburg!! Granted, I was there for the offseason so I had a really great rate but I was blown away when I walked into my room and saw how huge it was with a king-size bed and a sleeper sofa. Not to mention a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator! And clean does not begin to describe this place. It was absolutely immaculate. I didn't want to leave. Breakfast was very nice. Whether you wanted hot food (and you could prepare your own waffles or pancakes and they had scrambled eggs, sausage) or yogurt, bagels, several kinds of juices and coffee, there's no way that you could not find something to like about their breakfast. The associates where the most friendly I encountered on my trip and Best Western is to be commended for the wonderful people they have working here. I highly recommend this Best Western to anyone traveling to Gettysburg. You will not be disappointed. And might I add, it's within walking distance to Pickett's Charge so basically it's right at the edge of the battlefield!
