First and most importantly, our rooms were very clean. They are slightly worn and outdated pieces throughout but the bathroom was spotless and functional. The staff was very friendly throughout!! The breakfast is ok (although free!) and they do have both a waffle and pancake machine (great for the kids). The walls are thin and if you're near the side door on the bottom floor it can be quite noisy in the morning with people coming in and out of that door. You can also hear people in the next room. I will say we came in April which is not the busy season and the public spaces are too smalll. If there is any kind of sports team or HS group (on both days for us) the breakfast room is incredibly small, as is the gym and the pool. I wanted to walk the treadmill at 9 pm but it was full of teenagers using the equipment so there was nothing available. Finally, the location is great. You can look over part of the Gettysburg military Park and the hotel is walkable to all of downtown Gettysburg. Overall, we do recommend staying here.

My family and I stayed here for one night while visiting Gettysburg. The hotel is newer and modern. Nice pool area, and the hot breakfast was wonderful especially with the battlefield view. Our two queen room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again when visiting Gettysburg. My only complaint... the walls are THIN! We could hear people traveling in the hallway, which is fine and almost expected. But we could hear full conversations from the kids in the room next door. Luckily we were so tired from traveling 10 hours that day, it didn't affect our sleep, but might be something to consider for a light sleeper, but not the staffs' fault either. :) Walking distance to the battlefields, restaurants and shopping. My kids really enjoyed this hotel. Overall, a wonderful experience at the Best Western Gettysburg.

We just had a stop over on our way to Washington D.C. . BW had greater times but the room was okay. It was clean and equipped as indicated. Breakfast was a bit low level. Only a few dishes to chose from and all with disposable tableware and cutlery. Maybe not state of the art. Our room was under breakfast room located. We heard footstep above quite early in the morning.
